Meet Our Team

Reverend Angy Trimmer – Ministry Planter/Director
Angy is a nomad who has lived all over the world and believes she is finally settled in Columbia, Tennessee.  Angy is Mom to more kids then she can count and always has room at the table for one more!  She loves to read, play the piano and watch movies.  She is in long term Recovery and her current addiction is working out at Harvey’s Gym. Angy has been a United Methodist Pastor for the past 10 years and has served the Church in many capacities for over 25 years.  She is passionate about people in recovery and loves working with people of all ages.
Annie Hardison B.S.W. – Recovery Minister
Annie received a Bachelor of Social Work from MTSU in the year of 1994 at age 55, and recently acquired Licensure in Social Work.  Annie’s dedicated love is working with women dealing with alcohol and drug problems. Annie recently celebrated 26 years of recovery in a 12 step program.
Gary Pinson – Recovery Minister
Gary has 27 years experience in 12 Step Recovery. His interest is in working one-on-one with new people in Recovery.  He also has a desire to see the honesty and accountability of the 12 Step Program adopted by the church.  He believes everyone would benefit by the fellowship, honesty and love that can be found in Recovery.  Gary has a Master’s Degree in Religion from Trevecca University and a B.A. from the University of Tennessee.
Kakeshia Brown – Recovery Minister

Kakeisha Brown (CR Coordinator) : Kakeisha is our Celebrate Recovery coordinator who works along side our team to not only to plan and facilitate our Friday night meal and fellowship, but, also cultivates new partner relationships with other churches and FreshSTART. Kakeisha is full of joy and optimism, and we are so excited to work with her.

Kristin Blumenstein – Office Administration

Kristin Blumenstein (Office Administrator): Kristin is currently the office administrator for Craft, is also resident staff at Discipleship House. She has a twenty-year-old daughter, Madysen, who lives in North Carolina. Kristin started at school this fall at Columbia State Community College, and is working on a pre-associate transfer in psychology.

Elaine Oliver – Residential Staff Discipleship House

Elaine Oliver (Resident Staff Discipleship House): Elaine works at Landmark in Mt Pleasant, TN. She has recently started her own cleaning business, “Maid to Shine” and is currently resident staff with Discipleship House. She is a great role-model for all the ladies in our program and is active in the church and program. Elaine is an excellent cook and volunteers her time preparing many delicious meals for various church activities.

Jamiya Cooper – Children’s Ministry
Jamiya comes to us with a wealth of early childhood education credentials.  She is the Director of the Craft Christian Day School and has a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.  Jaimya loves God and loves kids and it shows. She leads our Children’s Church on Sunday evenings and is a role model for our children of all ages.
Diamond Alford – Children’s Ministry

Diamond Alford (FreshSTART Kids): Diamond has been working with Fresh START for a year. She started as a volunteer while attending Columbia State Community College, and now works full time with Craft Day School and works with FreshSTART kids on Fridays and Sundays. She is outgoing and creative, and her personal dedication to the development of our children and youth have been imperative to Fresh Start ministries.
