Reverend Angy Trimmer – Ministry Planter/Director
 
Angy is a nomad who has lived all over the world and believes she is finally settled in Columbia, Tennessee.  Angy is Mom to more kids then she can count and always has room at the table for one more!  She loves to read, play the piano and watch movies.  She is in long term Recovery and her current addiction is working out at Harvey’s Gym. Angy has been a United Methodist Pastor for the past 10 years and has served the Church in many capacities for over 25 years.  She is passionate about people in recovery and loves working with people of all ages.
Annie Hardison B.S.W. – Recovery Minister
 
Annie received a Bachelor of Social Work from MTSU in the year of 1994 at age 55, and recently acquired Licensure in Social Work.  Annie’s dedicated love is working with women dealing with alcohol and drug problems. Annie recently celebrated 26 years of recovery in a 12 step program.
 
Gary Pinson – Recovery Minister
 
Gary has 27 years experience in 12 Step Recovery. His interest is in working one-on-one with new people in Recovery.  He also has a desire to see the honesty and accountability of the 12 Step Program adopted by the church.  He believes everyone would benefit by the fellowship, honesty and love that can be found in Recovery.  Gary has a Master’s Degree in Religion from Trevecca University and a B.A. from the University of Tennessee.
Kakeshia Brown – Certified Peer Recovery Specialist
 

Kakeisha Brown (CR Coordinator) : Kakeisha is our Celebrate Recovery coordinator who works along side our team to not only to plan and facilitate our Friday night meal and fellowship, but, also cultivates new partner relationships with other churches and FreshSTART. Kakeisha is full of joy and optimism, and we are so excited to work with her.

Kristin Blumenstein – Office Administration
 

Kristin Blumenstein is currently the office administrator for FreshSTART and is also resident staff at Discipleship House. She is currently attending Columbia State Community College. Kristin loves teaching the 4-8 year old class on Friday nights and she is looking forward to becoming a grandmother in January.

Dedra Campbell – Director of Youth & Children’s Ministry
 
Dedra has been in Youth and Children’s Ministry for eight years in Middle Tennessee.  She is passionate about our youth and feels led to create safe spaces for all children and youth. She is currently overseeing the development of trauma informed ministry. She is dedicated to promoting the social-emotional health and resilience of young children and teens, as well as the adults who work with them.
 
Diamond Alford – Children’s Ministry
 

Diamond Alford (FreshSTART Kids): Diamond has been working with Fresh START for a year. She started as a volunteer while attending Columbia State Community College, and now works full time with Craft Day School and works with FreshSTART kids on Fridays and Sundays. She is outgoing and creative, and her personal dedication to the development of our children and youth have been imperative to Fresh Start ministries.
